Job Title: Management Information System (MIS) Coordinator

Status: Full-time

Dept.: SLAHP

Compensation: $63,007 to $77,357 annually

Required Skills & Qualifications

The MIS Coordinator develops and implements activities to assess and evaluate the Lundquist Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program and its services and efforts to recruit, retain, and reengage WIC applicants and participants. The position requires strong technical skills in the areas of data management and data analysis. Strong analytical abilities and research skills applied to maternal-child health services are needed. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are critical skills in performing the position's responsibilities. Under the direction of the MIS Manager, the employee is responsible for improving the Lundquist WIC Program’s caseload, staff continuous quality improvement (CQI), and productivity rates. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information systems, business analytics, or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.

Description of Duties: - Provides consultation to the Executive Director, Deputy Director, WIC Operations, and management staff on developing, monitoring, evaluating, and expanding WIC services - Collaborates with the WIC Services Unit to develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for staff, including in-service sessions - Develop data guidelines and procedures for staff use - Supports program evaluation activities such as needs assessments, monitoring, and report preparation - Writes reports, proposals, and presentations by synthesizing data from WIC and other sources - Prepares and delivers presentations for staff, and at local, state, and national meetings and conferences - Represents the agency on local advisory boards, coalitions, task forces, and committees - Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on agency, site, and individual metrics as directed - Assists the WIC MIS Manager with MIS-related needs for site operations
