POSITION SUMMARY & JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Project Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services for the company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in purchasing and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy of information - Source new suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms - Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any issues that may arise - Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed - Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods - Assist with budgeting and forecasting for purchasing needs - Generate and analyze reports related to purchasing activities - Collaborate with other departments to ensure purchasing goals are met
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels, forecast demand, and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
2. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all purchasing policies, procedures, and regulations, including ethical standards and government regulations.
4. Communication: Collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate purchasing activities and communicate any changes or updates in purchasing processes.
5. Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing activities, such as incorrect orders, damaged goods, or invoicing errors.
EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software

Salary Range: $26.06/hr.-$33.80/hr.
