Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree - Graduate medical education (GME) knowledge preferred - Minimum of 1-2 years related experience preferred - Experience working in graduate medical education (GME) preferred, to include residency programs and fellowships, as well as clerkships - Understands general human resource functions and principals Basic understanding of financial and budgetary processes and principles Understands principles of record keeping and confidentiality Familiarity working with accrediting agencies preferred Demonstrates proficiency with computer applications, online resources, and equipment utilized by Department Highly organized; capable of prioritizing and completing competing tasks Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking skills, and adaptability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability and plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to meet deadlines Ability to work as a member of a team Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner Demonstrated cooperative behavior and positive-problem solving and conflict resolution skills Available to work dependable, flexible shift
Description of Duties : - Day-to-day coordination of Emergency Medicine Residency Program, fellowships, and clerkships Provide strategic management to ensure that all are working effectively to meet program and Department goals Maintains documentation of curriculum, accreditation documents, manuals, etc, as well as knowledge of current program requirements Compiles, updates, and submits reports to professional organizations Coordinates training courses, examinations, site visits Serve as point of contact and liaison between internal and external stakeholders Assist Department leadership with programmatic and administrative tasks as assigned Other duties as may be assigned (required)
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000/yr.
