Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters of Social Work
  • License by state of California in Clinical Social Work
  • Provide Social Services support for continuity clinic patients as identified in clinic or on a referral basis
  • Work 4 half-days week during continuity clinic assessing families
  • Work with physicians in developing clinic programing services for patient population
  • Provide direct supervision/teaching for pediatric residents
  • Identifying families that benefit from Community-based trials that assist patient populations such as “The Impact of a Medical-Financial Partnership on the Health and Well-Being of Low-Income Families: A Randomized Controlled Trial”

Description of Duties

  • Identifying families that benefits from Community-based Trials
  • Provide direct supervision for teaching pediatric residents
  • Function as a consultant in a pediatric clinic to assist in identifying patients/families that could use behavior resources/services
