Description

Requirements: - Ph.D. in degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or other related life sciences degree or work experience - One to three years relevant laboratory experiences preferred in a biological scientific field and laboratory animal handling experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Conduct hypothesis-driven research - Lab techniques including but not limited to cell culture, western blotting, qRT-PCR, Co-IP, flow cytometry, plasmid construction, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, etc - Comfortable working with animal models (rodents, rabbit, and sheep) and Available to work dependable, flexible shift - Data analysis including Single-cell and RNA-seq, and ATAC analysis - Capability of data mining on various databases to perform basic bioinformatics analysis.This also includes use of R language and ability to conduct heat map analysis. - Ability to work as a team player - Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines - Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner - Demonstrated cooperative behavior and positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities: - Conduct hypothesis-driven research - Utilize lab techniques needed to conduct research which include but are not limited to cell culture, western blotting, qRT-PCR, Co-IP, flow cytometry, plasmid construction, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, etc - Work with animal models - Perform both basic and complex data analysis which includes but is not limited to single-cell and nuclear RNA-seq, and ATAC analysis - Supervise junior lab members - Other duties as may be assigned (as required)
