Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • GED or high school Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree Health Major preferred  
  • Experience with coordination of community projects and outreach programs
  • Experience working with urban-underserved, disadvantaged teenagers
  • Dependability as well as flexibility to meet the changing needs of a dynamic program
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Description of Duties

  • Overall program coordination for the AHEC programs which include YOLO, SUHF, AHEC scholars program and the community health fellowship
  • Tracking and data collection on all AHEC participants.
  • Compile and maintain and prepare curriculum materials for the project
  • Coordinate logistics for site visits by consultants
  • Track expenses to ensure project is within budget
